Certifications

At the ESI headquarters it is possible to support the exams to get the Certifications knowledge of the Italian language for all levels from A1 to C2 provided for by the Common European Framework of Reference (QCER).

The Italian Certification Center as a Foreign Language (CILS) of the University of Siena has in fact designated ESI as the Examination Center in the Netherlands for the dissemination and administration ofCILS exams (Italian Language Certificates) for all levels A1-C2.

Similarly the Center for Language Assessment and Certification of the University for Foreigners of Perugia has designated ESI as the Examination Center for the dissemination and administration of CELI exams (Italian Language Certificates) for all levels A1-C2. However, the execution of the CELI exam sessions at the ESI headquarters in Den Haag has not yet been implemented, for organizational reasons of the ESI.

These designations are a source of particular pride for ESI, in recognition of the quality and professionalism of teaching acquired over the years.

Certifications to obtain the ITALIAN CITIZENSHIP or the RESIDENCE PERMIT in Italy.

According to the legislation in force, for foreign citizens applying for Italian citizenship it is necessary to present a certificate of knowledge of the Italian language at the minimum level B1-Citizenship of the QCER, issued by an institution officially recognized by the Italian government (such as CILS and CELI certifications).

Similarly for the A2-Integration Certificate, necessary to apply for a Residence Permit in Italy.

ESI also organizes specific Italian language courses to obtain these Certificates.
