CELI certifications

The Center for Language Assessment and Certification (CVCL) of the University for Foreigners of Perugia is part of the four Certifying Bodies for the Italian language officially recognized in this role by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MAECI).

This Center has designated ESI as the Examination Center in the Netherlands for the dissemination and administration of CELI exams (Italian Language Certificates) for all levels A1-C2.

The CVCL processes and produces exams for the release of language certificates which attest to the ability to use Italian L2 and LS at different levels of competence and for different contexts of use.

Such certificates, known by the acronymCELI (Italian Language Certificates), they are comparable to the most important certificates issued by the European institutions belonging to’OTHER and refer to the learning objectives specified within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (QCER) of the Council of Europe.
