(Project realized by Roberta Giaconi – 2014):

In the past years I have proposed a project based on a book for fourth and fifth grade children of different Tuscan and Milanese schools. The project included reading the book with the teachers, a pantry I had prepared, then a meeting with me, that I arrived in class with an umbrella / celestial vault with the constellations mentioned in the book and attached above, at the end, a visit to a planetarium or an astronomical observatory or a guided view of the sky with an astronomer.”

l book (published by Mursia) is titled Gioconda and the Polar Star and its objectives are to introduce children to the stories of the main constellations, drawn from Greek mythology, is to allow them to recognize them in heaven.

To complement the book, Roberta edited the astronomy dispensation for primary schools, by title “Children and the Stars”.
